Ciputra Artpreneur marks a historic milestone by presenting Indonesia’s first-ever Disney LIVE SCORING concert, DISNEY’S BEAUTY AND THE BEAST IN CONCERT, held on 27 & 28 September 2025 at Ciputra Artpreneur Theater. Presented under the official license of Disney Concerts in collaboration with Willow Arts SG, the concert reflects Ciputra Artpreneur’s ongoing commitment to elevating Indonesia’s performing arts landscape through world-class international collaborations.
Featuring the acclaimed Live-to-Picture format, the concert screens the original animated film Beauty and the Beast (1991), complete with original dialogue and vocals, while the entire musical score is performed live and fully synchronized with the film. More than 60 musicians bring Alan Menken’s iconic compositions to life, offering audiences a deeply immersive and emotional cinematic experience.
This landmark presentation also marks the first time Disney Concerts has entrusted an Indonesian orchestra and conductor to perform a live scoring concert in the country. Bandung Philharmonic Orchestra, led by conductor Wishnu Dewanta, was selected to deliver the orchestral performance—an acknowledgment of Indonesia’s growing artistic excellence and its ability to meet international production standards. The concert demands exceptional technical precision, with musicians performing in exact alignment with the film’s visual cues.

Presented across four performances over two days, DISNEY’S BEAUTY AND THE BEAST IN CONCERT introduces Indonesian audiences to the magic of official Disney live scoring. Ciputra Artpreneur will continue this journey with DISNEY’S THE LION KING LIVE IN CONCERT, scheduled for 13–14 June 2026.
