Montblanc continued its creative dialogue with Wes Anderson through the launch of Let’s Write, a short film that unfolded as a whimsical meditation on writing, creativity, and the poetry of travel.

The evening felt less like a screening and more like an invitation into Anderson’s meticulously imagined world. Returning to the snowbound Montblanc Observatory High-Mountain Library, perched above the clouds, the film reunited viewers with its trio of eccentric mountaineers—played by Rupert Friend, Michael Cera, and Anderson himself—moving effortlessly between metaphysical musings, brand storytelling, and playful exchanges.

New fantastical settings emerged, most notably the Montblanc Voyage of Panorama, a staged train car drifting through imagined landscapes. Each stop became a pause for reflection—a reminder that travel, like writing, is both a physical and inner journey. Through witty, self-aware dialogue, the film gently encouraged moments of stillness, introspection, and imagination.

Self-referential, absurd, and quietly audacious, Let’s Write unfolded as a love letter to the written word. By the end of the evening, the impulse was unmistakable: to slow down, pick up a pen, and begin writing again—proof that the most memorable stories do not simply entertain, but linger, inspire, and invite participation.
